Composition Notes

I actually wrote this in the 70's on top of a 118 bus in Mitcham. There is no actual Paradise Street in Mitcham but it is allegorical with the route to the Pearly Gates.

So the song was composed but it took decades to record it to my satisfaction because it is swing and needs horns particularly Bari Sax.
